Take a trip to the famous Rio Bueno for an exhilarating tubing excursion. Your adventure starts with a scenic drive along the North Coast to the Rio Bueno River. Once you arrive, a friendly guide will assist to help you in check-in and putting on safety gear. When set and ready to go you will follow your tour guide across the Irie Bridge and walk down the jungle trail. Learn interesting facts about Jamaica and the native plants and animals that call this area home along the river. Ultimately you will arrive at the river launch point and after one last safety check, it’s time to start the adrenaline rush downstream!
As you float down the river the currents will carry you through the rainforest. Your tour guide leads the way so all you need to do is lean back, relax and take in the scenery. The river has multiple lazy sections, which are each followed by thrilling class 1 and 2 rapids; the faster pace is sure to provide your fill of thrills. Along the way, there is one stop that gives you the opportunity to jump from a platform into deeper water and swim around in the cool, refreshing water.
Following a couple more rapids downstream, the currents begin to subside, and you will then embark on a short, but scenic boat ride into the Caribbean Sea. Soon you will reach a private beach where you can just unwind, have a drink and take in the great atmosphere before returning to port and your ship.
