Just outside of Ocho Rios lies the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls, one of Jamaica’s top tourist attractions and a must-do while on the island. Towering approximately 155 feet high, this 600-foot-long waterfall is terraced like giant natural stairs and is one of the very few waterfalls that empty directly into a sea.
The adventure begins as you meet your driver at the port and start your scenic and picturesque ride along the north coast to the Falls. Local and knowledgeable waterfall guides will be available to literally lend a hand as you navigate your way up the falls; alternatively, you are welcome to tackle the falls on your own. There are also stairs alongside the falls for those who do not want to get wet or who may have difficulty with the uneven terrain of the falls. Enjoy stops along the way to relax in one of the several small lagoons and relax in the cool air thanks to the lush rainforest surrounding you.
