YS Falls & Black River Safari: Jamaica’s Hidden Treasures

YS Falls & Black River Safari: Jamaica’s Hidden Treasures

Our adventure begins with a scenic six-mile journey up the Black River, where your knowledgeable captain and tour guide will share fascinating insights into the area’s ecology and rich history.

The Black River Morass is home to over 100 bird species, and many can be spotted during your trip, adding to the beauty of the surrounding nature.

A thrilling highlight of this river safari is the chance to spot crocodiles in their natural habitat and watch them being fed right from your boat — an unforgettable experience!

From the river, we continue on to one of Jamaica’s most breathtaking natural wonders, the YS Falls. Located in a secluded valley on the scenic South Coast, YS Falls is nestled within the YS Estate, a working cattle and horse farm.

This stunning seven-tiered waterfall is a true gem, offering a perfect spot for a refreshing swim in the cool mineral pools or simply relaxing amidst the beauty of nature. Whether you choose to dive into the water or unwind on the banks, YS Falls is sure to captivate your senses.

Please note: YS Falls is closed on Mondays & Public Holidays.
